Bleepbloop Brings the Buff
It is always fascinating how property owners, and the city authorities, do not want bright, colorful, artistic graffiti, but they don't seem to mind mis-matched buff scars.
Bleepbloop calls attention to this discrepancy with a new series where the artist went to unpainted walls, and painted the buff right onto the walls before signing around it.
Interesting stuff.

Bleepbloop - Laying Low
This cardboard piece from Bleepbloop was hanging from a pole next to this spot on Melrose.
Somehow, the piece got knocked to the ground, where it is laying low on the sidewalk.
No one had claimed the piece yet. Perhaps, not because of the art, but because this location is right in front of Sportie LA, one of the hippest spots for trendsetters to grab the hottest sneakers. And the old man loafers that were used to hang the art probably don't appeal much to the sneaker crowd.
Sure that this piece from Bleepbloop eventually found a home. And if the shoe fits . . .

Bleepbloop - Like Fighting a Wild Beast
Interesting piece from Bleepbloop. It is a picture of a lion showing its teeth, which then has been modified by Bleepbloop's lines and imagery.
On Melrose. Dig it~

The Medium Must Match the Message
An awesome street art hot spot in Silverlake. At the bottom of Bamp's giant mug shot is a tiny 8.5x11 piece of paper that says 'Don't you dare for one more second surround yourself with people who are not aware of the greatness that you are'.
Love the quote. And another good one (paraphrased) says that 'We judge other people by their actions, but we estimate ourselves by our potential'. No doubt. Its true. We judge others based on what we see, but we judge ourselves based on what we know we are capable of.
Think the tiny paster is from Leopoldo. No doubt there is greatness, and we look forward to seeing more of it on the streets. But the medium should match the message, and if it were presented differently, people will respond to it differently. Anyway, dig the concept and stay up!
Joined by street art from Bamp, Sonay, Bandit, Fame, Phylo TSF, and more, like the half covered BleepBloop still says.

Bleepbloop, 2001.
Fresh new 3 part hand painted piece from Bleepbloop entitled The Obelisks.
From that title, can anyone decipher the relevant date of 2001?
