Knocked Down Like a Clown

This dude is the 2nd dude to get knocked down for trying to deface a Banksy.

Dig it.  Knocked down like a clown~

At first, there was no picture, just a video, and it seemed like the guy in black was trying to stop the 'vandalism' of vandalism.  But with this pic, it appears the 'vandal' is the guy wearing a hoodie with no socks and loafers.

The wanna-be vandal did not tag Banksy's piece, and his spray can was taken. And then everyone talks tough . . .

Teacher and the 8er

Teacher had some fun with his custom made 8er spray paint video.  Yup, this is a fully functional custom device Teacher designed to spray many cans at once.

The 8er is actually Teacher's 9er, but with 8 cans loaded.

Check out Teach's short teaser video of the 8er in action.

Teacher - VFX not Vandal

Teacher just completed another custom series of spray cans.  Like Teacher's earlier giant ebox, hese are meant to show solidarity with the VFX movement in Hollywood.  Teacher says its a crime what the special effects people get paid.  And because of that cause, Teacher wanted to make sure and not vandalize with these pieces.  Teacher is always brainstorming new ways of getting up, and so he invented a novel method to place cans on the streets.  Teacher's method cuts a whole through the bottom of a can (don't try this at home kids, cause unless it is depressurized first it will explode!) thereby creating a way to get up with no vandalism done to the streets themselves.

Teacher also invented this new logo displayed on the spray can for the VFX movement.

Dig it~

Banksy Tributes Graffiti Writer Nekst

Big name graffiti writer Nekst recently passed away.

M&F has covered how Los Angeles artists like MSK and Neckface have hit the streets with tribute's dedicated to Nekst.  And now Banksy has put up an animated gif on his website, showing a flame flickering on a yellow caution sign behind a spray can.

At the bottom it it says Nekst R.I.P.

Teacher - Peace Through Paint Spray Cans (UPDATED!)

Teacher is the 'King of Innovation', and here is another new item, Teacher's Peace Through Paint Spray Cans.

Lots of artists have done custom spray cans, but Teacher takes that a step further but attaching a 3d spray coming out to look like a heart.  Dig the attention to detail and how each tip has the same color as the heart added to it.

Teacher plans to recycle used cans of paint and every so often place these Peace Through Paint cans in the street.

***UPDATED - New pic added with a new design.  Click the link to check it out!***

Snyder Gets Up in Costa Rica!

Snyder recently made a 'vacation' to Costa Rica.  'Vacation' has been placed in quotation marks because Snyder is a working artist, and since doing art is what he loves, Snyder gets up even on vacation.

In addition to his previously posted Bathroom Bombing, Snyder also got up all over on the streets of Costa Rica with everything from colorful wheat pastes (featuring Snyder's iconic Drip-Stencil aesthetic) to stickers to hand painted graffiti pieces on walls.

Click the jump for more M&F exclusive pics and action shots.  And you can read about Snyder's full story of Snyder's vacation over on Carlsbad Crawl.
