El Mac & Kofie

El Mac and Kofie team up to paint the front shutter doors of the Soze Gallery in downtown Los Angeles.

Controlled Burn - Tank One Graffiti

Burner from Tank One in downtown Los Angeles.

Dig the way that the graffiti jumps off the wall and onto the telephone pole in front.

Orange You Glad to See Me?

Orange and blue girl paster pasted up in downtown Los Angeles from Love 5.

Put Some Clothes on That Tranny!

Thrashbird has been putting up bold and blatant pasters of tranny's.  The pieces portray boobs and a cock, and some people in society don't like these images.  The cock seems to get buff-blocked most (its like getting cock-blocked by the buff), and generally people scratch it off, or sometimes scribble over it.

Well, not in downtown Los Angeles.  In this fashion forward area of town, someone decided to dress up Thrashbird's tranny in a new yellow outfit.  Looks kind of cute.  Bet the tranny would like her new clothes--until she takes them off again . . .

Built on the Back of Coyotes

LA was built on the back of coyote territory, and this art piece in downtown portrays a stack of buildings on a howling dog's back.

Even though most people might not realize it, there are more coyote's in North America now than hundreds of years ago.  We fight them, but they are still thriving.  There are still coyote's all over Los Angeles, even in downtown.

Next to a cryptic looking face from Vyal One.

Can't keep a good dog down.~
Stay up!

Ugly As Man

CRG and Gone get poled in downtown Los Angeles with a sticker and a custom hand painted 3d yellow box.

Cool Joe Camel

Full color wheat paste featuring Joe Camel and the letters SHVMVN.

Looks similar to Ron English's work, but this does not have the anti-corporate theme that Ron's does.

Anice & Irok

Anice MTA and Irok Rotting Fresh get stuck up in downtown Los Angeles.

Come On, Louder!

Each of these hand painted heads from Kashink also has a message added onto it.  And these messages seem to fit perfectly with the environments where they are placed.

Like this one here.  Kashink put a head over a weak stencil that barely got painted onto the wall.  Kashink's head encourages the stencil to go harder saying 'Come on, louder!'.

Dig it.  Stay up and stay louder!~

Love Saves the Buff

This beautiful piece by Random Act has already got buffed.  But the piece of 'love' gets a second life forever online because M&F contributor John Wellington Ennis grabbed these pics and sent them in.

Stay up and stay lovely~

Riding Long Time (pt. 2)

Part 2 of the massive art wall riding for a long time in downtown Los Angeles.

Tons of ups from Mr. Ramano, Pastey Whyte, Adrian Brody?, Patrick Martinez, Casket Cult, Biafra, ASVP, Nomatter Whatness, CMYK, Cali Love and much more.

There is so much all the action can't fit into the top pic.  Click the jump for a humongous 19 pic pictorial.

The Artful Way to Say Things

One of art's finest attibutes is that it can help dress up an idea, any idea really, to make it more appealing.

Here is a simple example showing the artful way of getting a point across, with a less artful, and a much more direct approach down below.

Octopus Out of Water

A modernized octopus gets painted next to some traditional graffiti letters in downtown Los Angeles.

I've Done Enough Drugs to Love Your Mouth

Tag in downtown Los Angeles saying 'I've Done Enough Drugs to Love Your Mouth'.

Then, someone else came and added 'Cunt'.

Thrashbird Handles Business On the Streets

Thanks for the pics and story sent in by M&F contributor John W. Ennis who details what is happening saying "Thrashbird whited out the other art next to his for capping elsewhere.  I believe the McDonald's street artist/advertiser does the Pamela Anderson print, and Thrash made it personal when he got capped."

Not sure if the McDonald tag below is a direct threat to Thrashbird?  . . .

Protect Your Valuables (and Your Genitals)

Another humorous street addition.  This one has been added to a street parking sign.  The painting says 'Protect Your Valuables' and some prankster came and added 'And Genitals'.

Good advice.  Its a wonder they didn't put the genital warning on there to begin with~

All You Need is a Hole and a Heartbeat

Oh man.  Going back to the brute days of high school where in the locker room guys with no standards would joke about being willing to stick it in anything with a 'hole and a heartbeat'.

Guess some person still feels the same way.  Although worded differently, the sentiment is basically the same.  On the Mr. Ramano fence piece in downtown Los Angeles, the original said 'All you need is heart'.  Then, some prankster added 'and vagina'.

If you want to check out a slick video of the original, untagged version, check it out HERE.
