Barry McGee on Melrose - Amazing!
Barry McGee (Twist) took his crew around LA today, to play in the city, and throw up some graffiti. They hit Barracuda on Melrose. We got some exclusive actions shots. Simply put, it was amazing.
It was a real thrill to see the same artist who we had just seen in MOCA's indoor 'Art In The Streets' coming to Melrose to put up some true art in the streets.
Barry was very nice, and we were most impressed with his quiet passion to get up. We've seen the itch in many of the top artists, and this guy has a drive to paint on walls.
Here are some shots of Barry, and the 'Fong' graffiti piece he did. And coming up are more pics of Espo, along with Barry and his crew.
***Big thanks to Hershy, who has been quite the man on the scene of of late, for the heads up***

ReplyDeleteFuck that Barry is a legend nothing but respect, but they went over a freshly done production By Slick and his crew. Disrespectful. The piece there before was 2 days old. Just because it's Twisto its ok, he knows better.
ReplyDeleteits a legal wall stop crying.looks worse now!!
ReplyDeletewheres HOUR at when you need someone to bomb over legals!
ReplyDeletesimple rule. Roast what you go over. They didn't. I respect Twist/Espo but that crew came WEAK with it.
