The
BBC is reporting that researchers from the University of Bristol are pressing for a change in the graffiti code, which "is aimed entirely at prevention and removal'.
They state that 93% of people poled want the Banksy pieces to remain, and also cite the financial value of these pieces as reason for changing the law.
This is truly a remarkable case, where the illegal activity itself is leading to a change in the law towards that illegal activity. Wonder if all the graffiti will be included and protected in this new proposed law, or just Banksy's?
