'Street Edition' Street Art

Some new paster from a new street artist named 'Whisper'.

Cool images on the 3 pieces.  However, it is amusing to note that Whisper designates this street art as part of a so-called 'street edition'.

The move is most likely an attempt to distinguish between these pieces, as opposed to some pieces that Whisper plans to sell.  It seems an agressive move made to directly market one's art.

A lot of people feel that street art is about advertising, but we feel that the best purpose is to spread art and interact with the streets.  Sure, there is a public dynamic about putting art on the streets, but there does seem to be a big difference between the self-promotors, and the ones who do it to get up in the city, who are not trying to sell anything.

Anyway, dig the art.  Interested to see more 'street editions' from Whisper.
