Army of One - Casualties of War

Sometimes, you can tell the popularity of a piece by how long it lasts on the streets-if its gone quickly, someone probably tried to take it home~

Much of Army of One's work has already gone missing, not from being buffed, but from fans taking the art.

In the first pic, it looks like someone tried to peel the Bride off the wall, but she ripped to pieces.

And in the second, only the silhouette of a grenade boy is left on the red wall.

Also, the wood cut out on Sunset is now gone.

There are still some spots riding, and hey, we enjoyed the art while it lasted.

  1. G...........its all part of our art and the savage streets,STREET ART IS FLEETING AT BEST...... the buffing ,burning ,going over, tagging ,the love its ,the haters, fans and trophy hunters, to acknowledge our art is to first realize it exisists metaphorically my friend...........

Early this morning, Army of Onejc2 unleashed our newest Project # 3 on The Walls and Dark streets of Los Angeles..............
"THE BRIDE of WAR"......THE Mother and Wife of all the Soldiers we have Lost in this insanity of WAR..... She is Beautiful and she is just, and she will walk these streets until the KILLING stops!!!! Over her heart she wears the bloody grenade, Army of One/jc2s metaphor for the senseless killing and bloodshed, this she wears over her sacred heart, a heart ripped from every mother and wife/ girlfriend who has lost a brave soldier senselessly....

  3. I must admit I am guilty of stealing pieces of street art and reconstitute them into my own art making
