Jim Carrey Has Graffiti Turf Battle With The City of New York

Jim Carrey is the latest celebrity to be doing graffiti, and quite honestly, we are impressed.

Carrey has been painting on the wall of his own building in New York City. But when a city worker painted over his original piece, Carrey returned and put up another graffiti piece in the same spot. Carrey says that he is not upset with the city worker who was just doing his job, but that he, as an artist, is also doing his job by getting back up. When the interviewer asks him if he is going to keep painting it there if the city paints it over Carrey says 'Probably'. Stay up, Jim~

Of all the celebrities who might have some incredible art work, Jim Carrey would be towards the top of that list. He is so eccentric and creative, and yet he has a good head on his shoulders, we would be intrigued to see his art develop.

The piece features a stencil character by Carrey called 'Boba'. Boba, Carey says, is a mischievous deity who exists 'to mess with you'. Dig it.
