Alien Sex Rehab put some more posters on the streets, and while we can dig the 'Rehab', we don't really dig this placement.
Alien Sex Rehab put up the new posters advertising a performance, right over street art, when there was absolutely no reason to. As we've said many times before, covering over another piece of street art does not make yours any cooler. In fact, its a bad move, as you are starting beef and insuring that the piece will be short lived.
But we did a search to find out more about Alien Sex Rehab, and, street placement aside, they are a funky music group with some catchy licks and full scale live production. We dug listening to it, they've got a unique look, and we could really see these guys catching on and making it big.
And, when we did the search, a previous M&F entry on Alien Sex Rehab is the first thing that pops up. They noticed too on their homepage it says 'The Revolution will not be Televised, but it Will be Blogged'. It is being blogged. Keep the streets clean, and look forward to seeing how the musical career of Alien Sex Rehab takes off.
The revolution is being blogged? On M&F it is but not by them, obviously. Ignorance is bliss and they're fucking ecstatic. There was no reason to cover up any of the pieces; the placement on the Obama poster is weak. I'm a fan of TechN9ne but his street crew is shit. Covering art that has a message with ads is furthering our idiocracy. Continue to sit and wait for the end, it isn't that far away.
