Stop SOPA!
SOPA is some proposed legislation by the US Government. It is being disguised as being an anti-piracy, but what it really does is censor the internet. If passed, SOPA would allow the government, or government agencies, to shut down any site that is accused of hosting copyrighted material. The copyright infringement wouldn't even have to be proven--all a site has to do is be accused and the content will be removed--meaning the entire website would be blocked.
SOPA would be the first program in the world to restrict internet access and censor what people choose to see.
Most likely, this website would be taken down if SOPA were to be enacted. Be aware. Contact your legislators and let them know that the people do not support SOPA!

My favorite thing about Censorship is █████!
ReplyDeleteThe administration will make a big deal about abandoning SOPA, while passing PIPA, a more insidious bill.
