Livin in LA - Vacation in Huntington Beach (pt. 2)

^above: a Sunset surfer heads out into the ocean

^At its thickest, the fog was so thick that even things 20 feet away were hard to see.

^Strange daytime sun that looked like the moon with black sky and gray water giving off a postcard-worthy reflection.

^This Great Dane was the most comfortable in the water that we have ever seen.  It was impressive to see him bounding out into the five foot deep water, bouncing like Tigger.  At the time of this pic, the dogs are probably at 2 feet of water and notice how the Great Dane is walking fine with feet touching the ground, but the full size Labrador has to swim.

^The sun was HUGE.  And with the fog cover you could almost look right at it.

^Happy feet~

^Panoramic shot Greg chilling with Shasta at HB.  This is during a clear sky moment.

^A panoramic shot with a warped view of the beach stretching out in either direction.

^There were all kinds of dead or dying bees on the beach.  Not just a few.  Dozens, if not hundreds.

^Scientists can put a man on the moon but they can't figure out what is killing the bees!

^A line of Pelicans swooping by during a rare moment of clarity.

^Pretty sunset picture at the beach.  But also notice the ocean oil rig situated off to the viewers left of the sun.

^Dog lovers and surfers peacefully share Huntington Beach.

^Epic sunset surfer pic.

^Ending on a good note--there are still good people in the world, and these hippie-folks were walking down the beach picking up trash.  This pic is them holding up their bags full of garbage.  It may be small but every little bit helps--Thanks for making the world better!
