Designer Con 2010

Free Humanity had a booth at Dcon sponsored by DKE toys.

He brought a full arsenal of Star Wars themed work, including a new Boba Fett chicken--as seen on The Family Guy.

Followers of the blog--or people who drive on La Brea, will recognize the mammoth mammoth in the background from the Pico & Wilshire wheat paste.

TLS released a DesignerCon exclusive 'Lava' version of Pico & Wilshire, limited to 98 pieces worldwide. It might be too late to grab that, but you can still get your hands on the regular edition here.

Dcon had live painting--and even live models posing.

^Ronald Reagan figures by unknown artist. Dig the 'Nancy' ink on the back of The Gipper.

^Chubby Boob cars. We have documented their work on the streets

Yesterday we rolled out to Pasadena to check out DesignerCon.

DesignerCon is a smaller version of Comicon in San Diego.

There was all kinds of cool stuff, ranging from children's toys to the Suicide Girls. We especially enjoyed all the custom toys.

And it was awesome to see the throngs of fans supporting Dcon and low brow art. We have been for a few years in a row now, and every year just gets bigger.

Enjoy the pics~
