ROA in S. Central LA (Fixed-With Bigger Pictures)
Belgian artist ROA was in town recently, and he left the city with some amazing artwork.
The biggest was left on this giant wall of Manual Arts High School in Los Angeles.
ROA paints city dwelling animals, that most city livers would overlook. He exhibits worldwide, and each place he paints, he focuses on indigenous animals, so the skunks, rabbits, raccoons and foxes are all living in this urban environment.
Well, people of the city will be noticing these animals now that he has painted this amazing mural. The sheer size is gigantic--even from a distance it was hard to fit the whole thing in a single shot. We love these creatures, and the gentle, flowing style that is ROA's.
Its worth a trip to S. Central to see this amazing piece of art in person.
