Banksy- Its Not Just LA
It was disheartening to see how many of the new Banksy pieces got vandalized. But, its not just LA with this problem
Each morning since the Oscars ceremony, we would wake up and run to the computer, hoping to find some new word on a fresh Banksy. It took us until today to accept that Banksy is probably not going to put up any more art during this spurt in LA.
And we just wanted to say that we have really loved the new Banksy pieces in town, and despite their being vandalized, it seems that the haters are not all in Los Angeles. As Darryl Martinez pointed out to us with these pics, Banksy didn't get much love after his visit to the East Coast, either.
All in all, it was a great run for Banksy in LA. We really enjoyed Banksy's art, and its a cool thing that there are a few pieces that will be protected and preserved. It sucks that so many Banksy pieces get vandalized, but that's part of the game. Haters gonna hate, but we think Banksy's art is great!

team robbo and king robbo have been at an art war wit banksy for awhile. king robbo also posts up banksy rats and calls out banksy on stealing ideas from "blak le'rat".
ReplyDeleteIt's sad that OMAR NYC has nothing to throw up himself except his moronic tag and his anti-art "'tude". This is beyond "HGH".
ReplyDeleteThe crayon soldier being removed is a blow. That shit should have been saved. The people responsible have outed themselves as boors.
