Daily Barracuda Update - The Scene Is Flooded!
Another day. More art, and another partial buff.
This scene is flooded!
There is some commentary that has been added the beautiful mess that is the layered wall at De La Barracuda. New street artist Subtle placed a sign that says 'Scene Flooded' up top on the balcony amidst all the half-buffed madness. We dig how this piece interacts with the space around it.
Also featuring new art from Serf with multi-colored cassette tapes and Common Cents posters saying 'How Could You Be So Heartless'.
Joining Cibass, D Young V, Sturad and a wall of half-buffed stuff. (The Vans Advertisement got fully buffed out this morning)

ReplyDeleteI also peed in the back.
Hi mom.

ReplyDeleteWas it subtle that did the scene flooded piece? Love that shit. Subtle is a cool guy. Dope artist.
ReplyDeleteSCENE FLOODED SIGN....amazing work. Very smart and extremely fun. Genius piece. Major props.
ReplyDeleteSaw that sign last night. It was rad. I then peed in the back.
ReplyDeleteSo wait, a new artist put up a piece saying "SCENE FLOODED"
ReplyDeleteThat makes no sense. Wouldn't he be part of the reason for the flood?
^" Makes no sense " are you serious
ReplyDeletedo you not know the difference between good and bad art
you must be a septerhed fan huh?
billy bob joe bob tim the 3rd
^^^^ I understand the piece. And enjoy it. I don't understand how a new artist could put it up. The scene is flooded with new artists. So why, as a new artist, would someone bring that up.
ReplyDeleteThe scene is flooded with shit art, and that spot was flooded for quite a long time, too.
ReplyDeleteWOWWWWWWWWW. HOW IS THIS "AMAZING" ARTIST GOING TO FOLLOW THIS "AMAZING" PIECE UP!? OMG! THE HYPE IS KILLING MEEEEEE!!!!
ReplyDeletethe piece is social criticism of the actual area where the art is going up.
ReplyDeleteif any one has ever been to there you would know its relatively "safe" and off the main streets.
take more as a get outta this little nook where only the blogs can see you and go big.
well to me at least.
