Ruets - Gettin Up and Teaching Class~

Ruets has made a name on the streets of LA. He is a dedicated graffiti artist who gets up all over the city of Angels. But not only does Ruets get up, he also volunteered at Manual Arts High School and ran an after school graffiti painting program for the students.

Ruets would do things like make the outlines, and then help the students with the fill ins. The Ruets letters (pictured below), and the First Aid mural outside the Medical Office (also pictured below) were both pieces in this project. And the names of all the students rides proudly up top on this wall.

We had always admired Ruets graffiti work, and now have a new level of respect after learning about his teaching classes at MAHS.Yet another example of the impressive art program going down at Manual Arts High School, thanks to Marco Ayala.

Stay up~
