Sky Bombing Graffiti Above Los Angeles

Some really cool stuff went down today in Los Angeles with some sky bombing of graffiti writers names and tags up in the sky above Los Angeles.

The names of more than a dozen writers from MSK and AWR were put up in the sky above Los Angeles. Saber, Revok, Risky, Aloy, Gkae, Krush, Push, Tyke, Meg, Augz, Aloy, Fate, Retna, Eklips, Hael, Fate, Zes, Dame, Tempt, LTS, Obey, and a few more names were blasted above the skyline of Los Angeles. Juxtapoz must have sponsored this because their name also went up at the end.

It was a pretty awesome and unexpected thing to see. It is a huge compliment to the stature of these artists that their names are that big that they made it to the sky. It must be cool for anyone to see their name in clouds, but we know that this was especially cool for Saber. While we were watching Saber paint a mural on Melrose last year, he got super pumped when some military planes flew by. It was cool to see because here was a legend, getting excited and jazzed up about something the same way that fans of his get excited and jazzed up to see his art.

Very cool stuff. Sure, there has been sky writing forever, but don't know if this is the first ever graffiti sky bombing. We've got more features on this sky bombing coming up, so stay tuned to M&F.

Dig it. Stay up~
