Septerhed & Morley
Two of LA's top get-up artists, Septerhed and Morley got pasted in a prime spot right next to the entrance at MBW's 'Art Show 2011'.
Dig these new characters from Septerhed, and this piece by Morley is poetic and absolutely profound. The piece mentions a father who was no around growing up, and somebody at the show came by and read it and then started asking Morley questions about it. A few minutes later the person shared that he was going through a divorce, but that he wanted to make sure his kids knew that he was still there for him. It was a beautiful moment, and one of the few times you see art have an immediate, visceral, impact.
We told Morley at the time, a picture might be worth a thousand words, but when you get the right words, well, it might take a thousand pictures to hit the same level of awareness.
Stay up~
