A teacher buys supplies, organizes a lesson, sets up classroom for lesson, but when its time to inform the students, the teacher does a half ass job and the students lose interest.
^ Ahhhhhahahahaha!... "A teacher buys supplies... but when its time to inform the students..." . That's hilarious! That took some thought - well set up.
^^^What are you guys, stupid? A bad teacher buys supplies but fails to inform students. There are plenty of good teachers and we need more teachers. Pay teachers more than doctors. Make it a profession that people WANT to be in and have to compete to get a job.
Way to spread the word. Keep up the good work, Teacher!
heh heh heh, just wanted to see how much hate i would get before i explained the purpose of these tags.... 2nd comment is kinda funny... these tags were done small on purpose to show how little respect is given to teachers here in america and how little funding in the budget there is for education compared to the rest of the budget... this is lame indeed!
MORE $ FOR TEACHERS AND EDUCATION!!!!!
and thank you to Diane for your kind words ~teacher
hey teacher, what are YOU contributing to teachers? why dont you set up a charity or something? instead of wasting more of our tax dollars on graffiti removal.
^ Teacher is a street artist not a graffiti artist. Artists are usually not good at setting up charities. You sound like you might have some good ideas, why don't you help him set one up instead of hating on him? He's trying to do the best with what he knows, why don't you do the same?
So you guys didnt see when teacher hit city hall up north a couple a weeks ago in sac-town, HE WENT BEYOND BIG!!! even got caught up by a local watch guard who was walking the area!!!
btw props to the guard for showing mad love to teacher, yo teach.. like i told you before keepin schoolin them with those "extra credit lessons"
teachers are paid well BTW. and there IS people competing to get teacher jobs, read up on the teachers unions and the sideways shit they pull, squash the union and make it like the private sector where the good teachers retain their jobs and the shitty jaded lazy teachers get the boot.
the unions lay off the newest first, and most of these are fresh, inspired very ambitious teachers that are excited to teach, but they get layed off because of union rules that say the new hires get cut before the long riding (mostly) jaded lazy teachers.
anyways, if youre gonna hit bills, i think you should smash the fucker, go huge, make your point because most people arent going to read that far into a tag to think it represents underfunding, just bomb that shit and get more eyes on it.
i'm not good at setting things up like charities. i would love to set up a charity to benefit teachers, but i've only been doing street art for about a year - so my work won't be worth much yet and it would end up being a waste of time. in los angeles guys' work like Alec, Free Humanity, Morley , and Snyder would be much more able to raise funds. maybe you should see if they want to help. ~teacher
We only work c. 180 days of the year. Considering this, we do get paid well. Private sector? Bullshit. They get paid to give wealthy kids "A"s. More often then not, private school teachers get paid less. On top of getting paid less, they often get ass fucked by the rich folks who pay their checks and pull their hair. They get evaluated by how tight their sphincter is and how often they bend over. One answer does lie with the union and contract negotiations (seniority vs performance). You might also look to see what the district chooses to spend money on and why: servicing heaters that are no longer connected to a heating unit, changing the elementary reading series (cost millions), paint lines on the floor for doors that don't open, repave yards that were paved less than a year before, beaudry - how many administrators do administrators need, ipads for all LAUSD teachers, multiple assessment tests?, millions on a new ESL program that was discarded soon after the money was spent... the list goes on forever.
Why even Go up there if your goin to do something so small? just asking

ReplyDeleteto an actual teacher--why are you bitter? There are no tax dollars spent removing paint from what is most likely an illegal billboard.
ReplyDeleteWhy would you be upset at somebody trying to bring attention to your profession and to making education better?
Thank you for doing what you are doing, Teacher. Your message is priceless.

So why the script font? Are teachers all curvy? Do they use hearts instead of dots? Do they not know cursive for capital letters?
