Hooked Up - Alec Monopoly Air Jordans
M&F has put it down many times that we are die hard sneaker heads. So it should come as no surprise that this is one of our favorite hook ups with a pair of customized Nike Air Jordan Force 3 Premier sneakers.
These were a pair of shoes from our own personal sneaker collection that we asked Alec to hit up. Since Alec wears the same size shoe, he actually wore these shoes around for awhile before painting them, as seen in the top pic.
Alec also hit up the box with some Monopoly Man artwork.
It has been said that one can tell the age of a Basquiat painting by the sneaker imprint on them. We like to think of these shoes as that.
Thanks for the hook up Alec!

ReplyDeleteThe watch. I like it.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you now own a jacked up pair of Jordans.
ReplyDeletethat kid shows off his watch in EVERY picture he takes......audemars yet no pot to piss in.
ReplyDeleteBASQUIAT had to die, have aids, be black, hang with andy and not copy anybody's artwork before he became famous. please give me a break to even mention his name in the same article with this flake, it's absurd. And tell this "copy cat" stop showing his watch in every pix he takes. It must be his only "prize possession" it's getting TIRED...... like his 1st grade artwork.
ReplyDeletewhat a shame that the generation of today considers this "artwork"! he may as well have a gun and stick people up for a living and take their money. no talent. hope he has a plan B!!!!
