Falling Off the Fiscal Cliff
A clever and relevant piece of political street art from Plastic Jesus calling attention to America's Fiscal Cliff.
The Fiscal Cliff is a term given to dramatic government spending cuts that are scheduled to take place this year. The scary thing is that businesses are lobbying to keep fat government contracts, and so what might get sliced are benefit programs for American Citizens.
It seems crazy to hand tax breaks to corporations over benefits to citizens. The so-called Free Market is propped up by billions of dollars in government welfare. This method is wrong. The government help should go to the people, not businesses. After all, what good is it to protect America's borders, if we can't take care of American people inside the border?!
Great location on this street art piece from Plastic Jesus, placed in the Hollywood Hills. Indeed. Cut defense spending and corporate tax loopholes! Don't throw the American People over the Fiscal Cliff!
