Around the border of the new Hansky mural on Melrose are some fun doodles.
In our opinion, these are almost more engaging than the Cage Against the Machine centerpiece.
However, just as we were making our way around the mural thinking how this stuff is cool, then we see the Arizona Iced Tea piece. These pop culture, or brand motivated references in art really throw us off and seam to cheapen the art.
Its like thinking 'Wow this artist seems really presenting some interesting stuff.' (then see the Arizona Iced Tea bit) 'Oh. They were just thirsty.' And every icon loses a little value.
