MELROSEandFAIRFAX Interviewed by USC


MELROSEandFAIRFAX had a busy day today, and it started out with an interview about street art with James from USC's Master of Journalism Department.

We had a great time discussing the nature of graffiti and street art, and here is a picture of James as he gets the camera ready to film us.

Filming on Melrose


9 semi-trucks. That's what it takes to shoot a commercial . . . damn. Wonder what it takes to make a movie!?

Filming on Melrose early this morning for a Sony Playstation commercial.

They rented out the empty Planet Funnk building that Zombie, KilleD and Mute recently hit up.

And we just want to point out that even though some people don't like it, this urban environment, with its graffiti, street art and stickers, are why companies choose locations like Melrose to shoot. (i.e. Street Art is Good for Business).

John Wellington Ennis - One Dude's Quest to Save Democracy


The contributors to MELROSEandFAIRFAX stood on the opposite end of the camera today when we were interviewed by John Wellington Ennis.

John has long been interested in street art-especially stickers. He currently puts up the Obama/Adama stickers around town, and was also behind the famous 'Giuliani is a Jerk' stickers that even made it on the Beastie Boys' guitar during a performance on Saturday Night Live.

John interviewed us for his current project . . .
