Artists be ware~
There is a police sting on Melrose today. We've never seen so many cops on Melrose. Cars zooming up and down the street. Walking cops. Bicycle cops. Cops everywhere. (if you look close, you can see the cop on a bicycle to the right of Free Humanity and Leba's pieces)
Since there is no real criminal activity to speak of in the Melrose area, we assume that this is aimed at artists. We got run up on just snapping photos.
Even the news came down to do a feature on it.
Such a waste of resources~
For safety's sake-stay off Melrose today.

I hope they're not targeting artists. I found this. Hopefully this is all it was. Wouldn't explain the police though. Did any officers say anything to you?
