'Futbol' at MacArthur Park
This is LA~
Click the jump for more
MacArthur Park in downtown Los Angeles is always packed with people playing 'futbol'. (We saw a little girl wearing a shirt that says 'I love football', but clearly it meant to say futbol!). There is always a game going on here, so the city replaced the worn out dirt field that had been grass with this nice astroturf sodding.
This is not street art, but a slice of LA.
Shasta also says that MacArthur Park has some of the best squirrel chasing in LA. And the new Retna/El Mac mural just went up across the street. So if you live in LA, head on down to MacArthur Park, grab a popsicle from an ice cream cart, and indulge in this beautiful city of LA~

I always wondered when LA would change that dirt field. It looks better already!
ReplyDeletefutbol is either spanish or spanglish, in not sure.
ReplyDelete"Soccer" is an american name for a game the rest of the world calls Football and they spell it as such.
