Chad Muska Puts In Work!
A lot of people have been hating on Chad Muska, saying he's doing art for the wrong reasons, blah, blah, blah and so on.
But the wrong reasons?! Cmon. This dude's intent is probably more pure than most 'artists' out there. A lot of artists create art trying to get rich, or trying to get famous, or just trying to make it big period. But Muska is already rich. He's already big, and he's already famous. He is making art for art's sake, and that is a beautiful thing.
And Muska has been spending more time getting up on the streets than about anyone lately. We don't know everything that Chad does with his time, but we do know that he spends a good chunk of each day creating art, like full time job status. We have been covering Chad a lot and folks probably think a lot of it is arranged. But he has been getting up so much that we just keep to running into Muska places we didn't expect to see him, like at Kinkos. Just look at those paint splattered jeans and shoes--no doubt he is putting in work!
And it was really cool to see Chad at Kinko's because at Kinko's we got to see Muska in work mode. The lady at Kinko's was having some trouble formatting Chad's 'Free Revok', and at one point she was helping another customer and he grabbed the computer screen. She came over heatedly (she had no idea who Chad Muska is, and to her, this was just some long haired dude covered in paint) and tried scolding him "What are you doing messing with my computer?!" she demanded. And Chad, cool as always replied, "I'm not. I'm messing with my file since you've tried 3 times and it hasn't worked, just trying to do this" he said and stepped away from the computer. Chad must've known his shit because his file finally did print correctly, and the lady, after seeing this, was not upset and thanked Chad for his help. It was a very cool thing to see. And, the point is, Chad Muska knows his shit. He is an artist putting in time, putting in the hard work, and putting art up on the streets. That's what's up, and we dig it~
If haters still wanna hate, 2wenty's got a suggestion.
