Got hooked up from Morelworks with a dope t with a print from The Phantom Street Artist saying 'Art Saves Lives'.
Morelworks does fine art publishing and supports LA's street art scene by producing prints and pieces featuring a lot of local talent. They also take great photos and sometimes contribute to the blog. So check out their website if you want an 'Art Saves Lives' shirt of your own.
Thanks for the hook up, Morelworks!
Thank you.... this is much kinder...
ReplyDeleteI used to see this image in the late 80s in LA-different sayings were inserted inside the body outlines. Same person?
ReplyDeleteno thats Fantom
ReplyDeleteoops yeah same person
ReplyDeleteAnonymous #2...great memory! Yes, he's the same person you member.
ReplyDeleteThe Phantom's in The Wooster Collective's book "Trespass: A History of Uncommissioned Urban Art" on page 28. Our print was based off an image from 1993, a remix of which can be found on the side of Living Room in Silverlake (same spot that has a Blek Le Rat in the parking lot and a Phil Lumbang piece on an outside wall).
