Pics From 'What Graffiti is to New York - Street Art is to Los Angeles' -- Free Humanity
Free Humanity had an impressive wall at 'What Graffiti is to New York - Street Art is to Los Angeles'. The look was super clean with stencil work on a smooth white background.
Free's sales were strong and he sold many pieces on opening night, including 'The Evolutionary Status of the Spray Can in the Contemporary Art World' and an Audrey Hepburn piece (maybe more, not sure).
And with his Dennis Hopper themed 'A Man's Art Collection Reflects His Spiritual Growth', Free really seems to capture the essence of the street art movement merged with the ideal of a collector. Very cool stuff.
Also, Free did an impressive giclee of his Virgin Mary that can be purchased from the Maximillian Gallery website.
