Hardcore Street Art
Found this ripped out page of a hardcore porno mag in front of some graffiti and street art on Melrose.
Just as we have included elements of the environment and how the placement of something on the streets influences its meaning, in this particular location, this magazine becomes 'art'.
Sure, a lot of people might be bothered that this blog would post something so graphic, but we feel that censorship causes more problems than it solves. Sex is not the problem--society's insecurity about sex is the problem.
And this might be graphic, but it is a 1000% times more wholesome than the violence which is blasted out daily on mainstream television. More porn, or art rather-- and less violence!
Stay up!
(and you're welcome~)

Not art. And why would you post this?
ReplyDeleteWhats next? Dog shit on the street? Is that "street art"? Get over yourself.
It's not an insecurity of sex. I LOVE sex. This post just represents the degradation of females in today's society and it only perpetuates the desensitization of sexual arousal. This was just another attempt to solidify the machismo attitude that keeps women in "their place". I think it's laughable you define this as "wholesome". Let me ask you this: If this were three dudes would you have posted it?
ReplyDeleteoh good, another place on the internet to find women in submissive positions, there's surely not enough of that already.
ReplyDeleteshame on you M&F
