Mr. Brainwash didn't just try to save the bigger wheat pastes. He also tried to save every little sticker that was up before it got buffed.
As he was doing this, he was explaining how he is a very busy man with a million things to do today. But this is important, he said, because he really cares. And because this show, and being part of it could be the thing that launches this particular artist, or it could be the impetus which encourages them to keep making art. And that is why, even though he is so busy, he spent his day saving street art instead of buffing it.

ReplyDeleteThanks again MBW! Sorry we added to the outdoor wall, if we knew that you would have to clean it off we would have stayed inside. It was too fun and easy to get wrapped up in the creative moment. When I went out there at 3pm there were a mob of 'tweens and little youngins tagging it up. Hardly the "gangsters" that the LAPD would like to claim!
