Installation of Teacher's 'Monster Box'
Dead on arrival~
Teacher installed his customized 'Monster Box' outside the LA Times building in downtown Los Angeles--which also happens to be right across the street from the LAPD headquarters in downtown Los Angeles.
The box is laid on the ground to show that education funding is DOA (Dead on Arrival). Not only do schools not have enough money for adequate computers, but this piece represents the dying of the newspaper due to computer technology.
Great placement for the message.
Dig it. Stay up, and fund public education!

ReplyDeleteDope man, as a teacher I understand that message of lack of funds in the classroom. Trying to be the best teacher I can with limited resources pits me against using my family income or not having simple things in my classroom. It's a really scary time for education in America, and how these kids going to pay these huge amounts of debt America is putting on them, with such a shitty future?
