Teacher - Mini Billboard

Teacher has made a name going big all over Los Angeles, and now he goes tiny with an amazing 'Mini Billy' billboard toy. Click the jump for more.

Teacher has built this amazing toy billboard. Teacher has probably spent more time up on billboards than anyone other than billboard workers recently, and it has really paid off as the attention to detail on this piece is impressive. It looks like perfectly like a real billboard.

Teacher used to design toys professionally and this piece is high quality. The goal is to eventually produce and market these billboards as a collectible 3d canvas for graffiti and street art enthusiasts. Now here's a way to 'Get Up' big on a billboard without risking your neck. If anyone knows any toy manufacturers who are capable of this kind of production, please hit us up.

Really dig this. Looks incredible. Stay up and keep teachin'!

  5. You should bring that by Toy Art Gallery on Melrose. They could help you out. Having an artist series of famed graff writers do editons would be sound business practice. Would look great on the desk or shelf. Fellow toy collector.here....

  8. thanks so much to LA_blue, AnguianoArt, Struggle Buggy, XAM, and THEFL for your kind words!! and to THEFL for the great idea of having a series of famed graff writers do editions!... looks like XAM's mini billboard is about 1/24th scale(3inches by 6inches)??? - and is soooo cool!.. mine is about 1/12th scale - the fence is 6 inches high and the billboard at the top of the lights is about 28 inches high. i did the lights facing downwards so it could possibly function as a desk light too... well, we'll see what develops with it. big big thanks to Melrose and Fairfax for helping with this.

  11. I'm sorry for bringing a vibe of competition to the mix but I just have to say this. Artists like Teacher make Banksy pail in comparison.
