Finally! Make It In 'Art Show 2011'
The line for Art Show 2011 was insane!
When we left at 7:30, the doors had not yet opened. We got word after 8 that the doors had opened and the people were allowed in. However, when we arrived back around 9 there was a big line on both sides of the entrance. Hundreds of people were waiting in line, and there was a swarm around the front door. Fortunately, because of our contacts (thanks Sara!) we were able to make it through the door and we were told that the reason the crowd wasn't allowed in is that fire marshall was there and they were at capacity.
But once we made it in, there were whole different sections to the show. Mr. Brainwash was outside signing autographs. His work was in the main room and upstairs. The art room was still busy with activity. And the second floor was thick with haze from paint. And the top two floors were VIP only for potential art buyers.
More pics to come!
