Thought VS Religion

Morley has been battling with the Scientology posters. A street battle of thought vs. religion.

  1. I opt out of any rivalry with this guy. Drama like this is boring to me and far too self referential. I make street art because I like putting positive messages on the street, not to take part in a pissing contest.

  3. Touche. I meant self referential in the sense of creating content that can only be appreciated by a small group of people in the LA street art scene that know about a beef. I'm not interested in making art for the sake of 'out dissing' someone. I just want to brighten someone's day. If that makes me a wuss or something than so be it. Does it bug me that this guy intentionally caps my work and the work of other artists that I respect and admire like Septerhed, Common Cents, GuneMonster and Desire Obtain Cherish? Yeah. But whatever. I make my art (and include a picture of myself) not for the sake of my own ego but for the sake of having my messages come from someone. A real person, a kindred spirit, a friend. It's a personal touch that I wanted to add to what I'm trying to say to the people of this city. Taking part in some kind of negative campaign against another artist seems like a waste of time and wheat paste to me.
