Teach Backwards

Looks like some new signs from Teacher are back on the streets of LA. These modified additions are painted backwards, in order to keep people thinking about the idea longer.

  3. Too true, too true.
    Keep on keepin' on!
the truth is what we need.
The children of ALL parents need good sound truth now via affordable, (Hell, FREE) education.

  4. By tomorrow c. 9000 LAUSD employees will have received a pink slip. I appreciate what you are putting out there, but some knowledge to back it up might make your message more affective. You're not telling us something we don't already know. It's a bit obvious that you're not really a teacher.

    1. Its a bit obvious you're not a street artist. How is more knowledge going to make the message more affective? Nobody wants to see too much information. The simplicity of this piece is ingenious. There should be one on every street sign! The way things are going it may be up to each community to teach their own children.

    2. You must not be a street artist either. Where's your creativity? On second thought maybe you are a street artist. Simplifying complex messages is part of being a good artist and a good designer. "teach each child" is a "no duh", not an "ah ha!" - or enough to stop most in their tracks. I know this is your reply above, teacher. Another sign you're not a teacher. You don't take constructive criticism very well.

You are a dope. Good luck in anything you pursue.

  5. wowzers!..... teacher here.... always thankful for ALL the input. you never know where the next idea will come from.

btw, i use to be a teacher. i'm not now - trying to find a job as an art teacher these days is pointless.

  6. So if you "have to be more careful now" Teacher, then WTF are you on the blog discussing your street art? I know youre a rookie but thats just retarded. Stop being so desperate for attention.

    1. hey pen pal, you realize that by now you and i are the only ones still looking at this post. but, you made an effort so i make one last reply.... as long as you don't publish any recognizable photos or videos of yourself doing anything illegal it doesn't matter what you discuss on this blog - none of it can be used against you - except by people like you. and, i'm not desperate for attention, i'm appreciative of input, even yours.
