Teacher - Now You See Me, Now you Don't

Amazing new optical illusion piece featuring Teacher work, calling attention to the vanishing funding for education.

A new street art piece just went up. The piece features Teacher's 'Education Bill' art work. The way that it is placed on the fence creates an optical illusion, and depending on where the viewer is standing, the piece will look different and change from looking completely filled in to disappearing.

The piece was meant to call attention to the persistant decrease in the funding for public education. Just like this piece, the money is disappearing.

This type of work has been done before, notably here in Los Angeles with Cyrcle's piece in front of LACMA last year. But it is impressive whenever something of this nature is successful.

Dig it. Stay up and keep teachin'!~

  6. ROA has done some of these as well. It's a cool idea for anyone to try to pull off. Looks like it would take some time and planning.

  7. That's right next to the Sunset Tower Hotel on Sunset Blvd. There's always cops around there with the Starbucks across the street. It must have taken a while to do the piece. How did he pull this off?
