I really love the hearts behind free's new pieces! Snyder has used this technique too, along melrose.. and I will never forget the big Dali Lama LydiaEmily had at lab art... same type of thing. There's a great piece by Phillip at lab art called Can Control. Creating patterns has been used by artists since, well, art... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pattern . I love the patterns gregory siff creates with his square on square and the pattern LydiaEmily's creates by the use of the new york times, in her background. For this piece, I pulled from the work I have been creating for my upcoming show at Lab Art. I also have come to love the ascetic of spray paint and the streets. Next time you are at the spot, check around the corner, Snyder surprised me with a RandomAct of his own! There, the background is mirrored by my piece, but created entirely by divine accident, the layers of colors left by street artist past. Thanks for the post. #grateful
looks like R.A. took free humanity's hearts idea around it. random act's art is amazing. i hope this turns out amazing as well. so far so good
