Alec and the Playmates

Here is the street level view of Alec Monopoly's recent rooftop painting in Hollywood.  Placed above the Playmates building in Hollywood, which is fitting, as Alec has already been featured in Playboy Magazine.

Placing his piece up top clearly worked, as making it visible from the street was the whole point Alec returned to add more to this piece.

This view is also the exact opposite as the post before--the other was the rooftop looking down, these shots are from the ground level up!

    1. Anonymous everyone has an opinion and I happen to thoroughly enjoy Alec's uplifting and vibrant art. I particularly welcome his creativity having seen the very beginning black shadows of the early 70s sidewalks of New York evolve into colorful diplays especially in otherwise dreary locations. Open your mind a bit. Think positively and you will enjoy life.

  2. PLEASE.... FIRST IT WAS THE WATCH, NOW ITS THAT CORNEY SHIRT. STOP TRYING SO HARD,YOUR ART IS LIKE "WATCHING RE-RUNS." People want to see art and say... WHO IS THAT???? not NO,NOT THAT AGAIN!!! . A good artist is like a good child, seen and not heard.GROW UP BROTHER YOU'RE OUT OF TIME.

  3. I've followed Alec from the UK and watched his portfolio of work expand and develop. Whats wrong with him having a signature character so that his work is recognizable? His charming Monopoly man brightens up galleries, streets around the globe now.
Whats funny about the haters is they're usually artists that could only dream of getting the recognition Alec has achieved.
He's achieved this through his personality and the fact that he works hit butt off.

  4. he works his butt off???? what's wrong with a signature character??? if he were talented enough he wouldn't need a "signature character" to be recognizable. a truly good artist is recognized by his "own" talents!!!!
