Lance Armstrong Street Art - Are There Any Heroes Anymore?
Plastic Jesus has been hitting home runs with hard hitting social commentary in his street art pieces.
Here is another timely piece with this Lance Armstrong themed stencil. This art pokes fun of Armstrong's recent admittance that, after years of denying it, he did in fact use performance enhancing substances en route his defeating cancer and winning multiple titles for bike racing.
This admittance is a big deal and a bitter pill for all of Armstrong's fans and supporters. Armstrong himself seems like a sleezeball since he was adamant about his denial for years.
Are there any heroes anymore?

Yes. There are heroes. But they aren't the ones the media makes. You have to find them in your neighborhoods, and in your families. These are the real ones. That being said, awesome street art...
ReplyDeleteShould have done it life size. Good idea, poor execution.
