The Silverlake/Sunset area has been hit with a rash of slashed street art.
Someone has taken it upon themselves to slash multiple locations with red paint. Not every piece that is up has been slashed, but multiple artists have been hit.
This is nothing like New York's infamous street art slasher, but a slasher is, by definition, someone who doesn't dare leave a name. Or someone who doesn't have one to leave.
Leave the street art to the artists. And leave Slash as the former front man of Guns n' Roses. Slashing art on the streets is just lame.
