Before . . .
After . . .
As anyone can see, there is plenty of room up top.
Don't know who this 'Push'n Weight' is but they seem to be getting up on the wrong foot while they are getting up.
Who knows what could motivate street beef--but in all the time I have been documenting Los Angeles street art, I have never seen Dog Byte go over anyone or start a battle. Dog Byte brings some great images to the streets of LA. His work is engaging and resonant, and perhaps this Push'n Weight is trying to start drama to ride to the coattails of one of LA's top street artists.
The thing is, going over a great artist does not make your work any better (READ THIS TEAM ROBBO AND TRUSTCO AND ALL THE OTHER HATERS IN THE GAME-)if you start out as a hater, you establish yourself as a hack.
Seems like there has been too much unnecessary beef on the streets lately. This is street art and wheatpasting. These are not 13-yr old graffiti crews battling for a block corner. These are accomplished artists--now save the drama for your mama and bring the heat to the streets.
