Back in college, MELROSEandFAIRFAX was politically active fighting many causes, one of the biggest of which was Big Media.
Information is power, and that power is being consolidated.
Media used to do investigative news, now it is one big tabloid of crap.
This is not by accident. Laws have been relaxed that enable corporate monopolies of media (the same corporation used to not be allowed to own a TV station and a major newspaper in the same city-but that has changed and is now allowed).
Media tells us what to think, and our thinking has been dumbed down name calling.
MELROSEandFAIRFAX might not be an active political activist anymore, but we still believe in and support those fighting the good cause.
Fuck Big Media (and especially Fox News!)
