Los Angeles Street Art Hits San Francisco (pt. 1/2)

Los Angeles has made a name for itself as the top place for street art in the world, both in quality an quantity. And the art in tinseltown was so prolific that it couldn't be contained within city limits. Street art from some of LA's top street artists just spilled into San Francisco. Really cool stuff with LA artists holding it down in San Francisco.

We hear that it was an epic trip where everything that could go weird did, and even the pasting was done in a sideways blizzard. But still, LA left a big mark on San Francisco.

Street art from LA artists Circle, 2wenty, Swift, KilleD, Koffinz, up with two of the bay area's top street artists D Young V, Eddie.

There is also a cool action shot below of ? and Eddie Cola.

  6. I spent some hours working with these guys here in SF in the pouring rain and high winds, walking and driving through out the city. I must say that I was very impressed by their level of determination and creative abilities. They had only a short time in this city under the absolute worst weather conditions of this year. With that said, they managed to get up dozens of pieces in numerous districts that provided a great representation of LA street artists (many of whom were not present on this trip). It was a great sense of unity and collaboration amongst the LA artists I met and had the opportunity to get up with. In addition to that, the response to their work here has been very positive and appreciated amongst the public and artist community here in SF. I'm looking forward to seeing more of it in the future.
    Cheers!

  7. Love D young and eddie cola but these L.A Artist you speak of; i have just started seeing up and their eagerness shows in their lack of ability to create quality art with bad mash ups and an extreme eagerness that feels like kids trying to get in some special club. But that facebook poster is funny and the colorful character is really cool, and if S.F likes it the can have it
