Hooked Up - Alec Monopoly
Alec Monopoly came by and hooked us up with some tagged stickers.
We were super impressed hanging with Alec. We talk with a lot of people about the scene, but we really noticed the keen eye that Alec has for art. He made some particularly poignant comments, and talked about art on a different level than most people we chat with.
Alec was one of the blog's early favorite artists, and we have enjoyed watching his career take off like a rocket over the past year. And this might sound like an overstatement, but it is not. Go ahead and think we are crazy now but remember you heard it here first--Alec is going to be one of the biggest household name artists of this generation. Warhol big.
The dude is talented. And tenacious. And hungry. And he has contacts in the art world that most could only dream of.
Keep an eye out for big things from Alec Monopoly.
Thanks for the hook up, Alec! Stay up~
