Free Humanity Get Stuck On MOCA

Free Humanity puts up an unsanctioned sticker at MOCA.

Free Humanity has been on a mission to get up in or on MOCA. He already placed an installation and a canvas on the outside of the building (the canvas is still riding), and now Free places a sticker inside Espo's exhibit.

While Free's move might be admired for for getting up and rocking the boat, we do think that this sticker changes the nature of the piece, and perhaps, by the respect of one artist to another, shouldn't have gone in this spot.

It is safe to assume that there have been quite a few more 'additions' at MOCA.

  2. What a wack piece of shit! This not cool at all! He is trying to build his name by putting up ugly stickers in a legendary exhibit. I hope the curators took that piece of shit sticker down immediatly! He should stick to hitting up electrical boxes and leave the MOCA exhibits alone.

  3. Putting up a sticker in ESPO's space is uncalled for and a complete douchebag move. I hope Free Humanity understands that this is not a good direction for him.

  4. You dudes are dumb. He didn't put it up over the art he put it on a tile pretty sure espo or anyone in his crew didn't lay the tiles.

  5. Have to say art in the streets exhibit was the biggest let downs of the year if not one of the worst exhibitions i've ever been to. SOooooooo poorly curated and just one big cluster-fuck.

  9. it's interesting if Free Humanity puts something up it's 'rocking the boat" and 'shouldn't have gone in this spot. but if Bankrupt slut puts something up in Moca it's makes it more Street ?

    Really M&F?

  14. JBP said Free is a good dude-Well we dont know him on a personal level, all we have is the interview and his work so he will ONLY be judged on those 2 things period, sorry. Actions speak louder than words and the sticker slap was bad form. It looks desperate..And its not "the streets" where anything goes, its a f-ing gallery for showcasing artists work where there ARE rules and RESPECT. How long has this guy been pretending to be Shephard?Like one year? Please. Espo dedicated his FN life to this shit not just a year on Melrose playing with wheatpaste. Amateur at best..

    Free Humanity is killing it

  17. Art is not about judging
it's about understanding and if you are incapable of that,
one has no right in judging another. Grow up

  19. i agree. free is spotjacking/ sidebusting the shit outta espo here. this is a gallery install and if espo wanted that sticker there he'd of put one there. go hit up real bathroom homie. free seems kinda desperate and sorta like a fame whore. he's now got work inside and (right) outside of MOCA. we get it free you REALY want to be seen. oh we see you.. a little too much. dude needs a holiday. free is super saturating the city. quantity over quality is "free's" motif

  20. Damn, whatever it is Free is doing is getting tons of people to comment on his stuff. 21 comments? damn mate!

  21. Martian- But they are not good comments. They are comments on how Free pulled a doucebag move and defaced ESPO's MOCA installation. Not cool at all. Freerange should check himself before he wrecks himself and his infant street art career.
