New Mr. Brainwash on La Brea.
Massive new Mr. Brainwash piece on La Brea.
It features a giant Campbell's Tomato Soup Can spraying red spray on a dude sitting in the chair.
More exclusive action shots of the installation coming up.
***Big thanks to Mike for the heads up on the action and the picture of the finished piece.***
***Haha, thanks Mike! It was 2 in the morning after a 20 hour day. Thanks again~***
The dude in the chair is from the old Maxell "Blown Away" add campaign.

You mean Mike right? :)
ReplyDeleteI love seeing MBW getting up. Digging this
ReplyDeleteA rehash of something we've seen years ago..... I don't get it.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure this was a legal piece, and with all the money and help that mbw has why doesn't he try something new?
Peter Murphy did the original Maxell add.

ReplyDeleteEveryone says this is not original. I think his idea of reinterpreting two different add campaigns to work together is very original. If someone can point out where this has been done before in the 30+ years street art has been around I'd love to hear it.
ReplyDeleteDo some research before you talk out the side of your mouth!

The same artist re-creating the same piece does not count. I am talking about another artist doing this concept before MBW.
