Where Do Maggots Come From?

If you take a piece of fruit and put it inside a plastic bag, in a matter of a few days maggots will show up inside the plastic bag, feasting on the flesh of the rotting fruit. Does this mean that essentially every piece of fruit has unhatched maggot larvae in it? Yummy.

Anyway, Maggot the street artist has been popping up in all kinds of awesome rotten places, like this alley way spot behind Melrose. Dig the character with the graffititied up garbage bin in the background with tags from Dame MSK AWR DZA, and a red and blue fill in from Gushe(?) AL.
