The Green Face - From Mexico to LA for 'Art Show 2011'

Last week M&F covered a family that drove from Reno to LA just to be part of Mr. Brainwash's 'Art Show 2011'. As impressive as it is to drive from another state, the artist who painted the green face drove up all the way from Mexico to Los Angeles to be in the show.

It seemed to be worth it, because even though this wall got buffed the next day, Mr. Brainwash singled out this piece as one of his favorite community art pieces there. Click the jump for more



Mr. Brainwash mentioned multiple times that this piece with its bold green colors and strong characterization was one of his favorite pieces from the show.

Also dig how the piece works with the other art around it, and the hair is faded out to make room for the Mysteriozo piece next to it.

The green character did get buffed the next day because it was on the outside wall of the building next door, but hopefully these pictures and the Brainwash compliment made the trip from Mexico worth it.
