When You Rip the Ears Off, There is Blood
Follow up to the earlier posted piece on M&F. The original featured extra stop signs added to each side of an actual stop sign, so that it looked like Mickey Mouse ears.
The location for this piece was chosen specifically because it is right down the street from the Disney Studios in Hollywood, and was done as a protest against Disney's push for copyright extension.
The Mickey Mouse ears didn't last long and got torn down recently. But it didn't end there. The artist returned to the location and placed blood on the stop sign where the ears were, as a reminder to Disney that there are consequences to one's actions.
