Graffiti & Mormons - Street Art in Salt Lake City

MelroseandFairfax spent the last week in beautiful Salt Lake City, Utah.

We had a great time exploring the streets and documenting the street art there.

Salt Lake has a vibrant street art scene, with loads of graffiti, wheat pastes, a handful of stickers, and the coolest 'non-traditional' street art that we've seen.

The city brings its own flavor to street art. Much of it is packaged with religious overtones. We hit many of the city's hot spots and captured some really cool stuff.

MelroseandFairfax is happy to have a solid folder of 137 pics of street art in Salt Lake. We look forward to blasting Salt Lake's street art alongside LA, and will be mixing it up. (side note: Los Angeles has a strong influence on the art world everywhere-and one of the coolest pieces of art that everyone in Salt Lake was talking about was the mural downtown at Fice by LA-based artists Retna and El Mac~)
